Categories must
be created first before placing products in the online store, therefore it
is very important to plan how the store items will be arranged. Set up
your products from most simple to most complex. Please
read understanding
categories before organizing your store. For an electronic store with Category Radios
and Category Telephones, this is
an example of how the Category Telephone may be
organized:

In
a piece of paper write down your products and organize them in a similar
way as the example you see above. Once you finish you can start implementing
(creating the categories) in your E-Commerce Wizard. It is very important
to understand that one
section should be developed at a time only (in this case, work with
Category Telephone first, then work with Category Radio second). This will
keep the construction of your site organized.
Important:
In order to be seen properly
on the web, every single category must have at least one product listed
before creating sub-categories. Do not forget to
place your products after creating categories!
