What to do when getting Restricted File Type error?
You will need to add the extension (file type) to the allowed file types dialog in the Host Setting page.
Do the following:
1) Login as Host
2) Go to Host > Host Settings page/tab
3) Go to "File Upload Extensions"
For DotNetNuke 3.x you must expand "Advanced Settings" and "Other Settings" to view the "File Upload Extensions" textbox
4) Add the new extension to the list (Remember; each extension is comma separated)
I.e. If you are adding a MP3 file you would add ",mp3" to the list.
5) Click Update
Now you should be able to upload the file.
