Notice that Site Builder 2 is for basic plan user. For advance plan or above please refer to Site Builder 3 setup tutorial. For sitebuilder plan user please refer to Site Builder 4 setup tutorial.
1) Purchase the site builder
Under [New Site builder Wizard] section, click the here button to purchase a new site builder instance. A new browser will be pop up and display the following screen. You can begin to edit/create your web site step by step.
2)Enable your site builder 2.0
After finished the steps on site builder, the site builder temporary ID will be displayed.(Please refer to red box area indicate in the following screen shot)
Please put your "site builder temporary ID" to the input box and click “Activate” button under [Activate Your site Builder Site] section. You should able to find your "site builder temporary ID" on the last step of Site Builder
Then the URL will be displayed under Currently Activated Site Builder Site
3)Login with Site builder 2
Under Currently Activated Site Builder Site , click edit beside the url http://[your temp builder ID].sitebuilder.mysite4now.com
loginname : [your temp builder ID]
default password : Control Panel password
4)Publish site on Control Panel
Please do not use the last step [Publish] on the Site builder. It will display the error [Publishing a site is not possible. Please contact your administrator. ]
Please click Publish beside the url http://[your temp builder ID].sitebuilder.mysite4now.com on Control Panel
The following information is needed to fill after clicked Publish on Control Panel.
- FTP Username: FTP account name
- FTP Passowrd: password of FTP account name
- FTP Hostname: Your Current Web Server IP
- Destination path: d:\hosting\member\memberID\[state the folder name which you would like to store the site files]
If you would like to publish on member root folder , please leave blank on the destination path.
If need to reset password , please go to Control Panel >> Security >>FTP account
5)Buy the another site builder
click Buy under the Activate Your site Builder Site
